→ To create order (and so acquire knowledge), all you have to do is to destroy disorder.
However, bound by the second law (of thermodynamics), you cannot. This has not been given to you.
Instead, Gravity is doing God's work throughout the Universe every nano second of the time, creating and maintaining the cosmic order, so that you can be housed and fed. And learn.
Amen.
→ Note on those thermodynamics:
For you to be able to live, i. e. create disorder, to mess things up, there has to be at least that amount of order given aforehand - and its origin can not be thermodynamic.
Just as the consequences of your deeds are one step removed from your consciousness as well - but in the other direction.
So, in a way, you are consciously living in what is nowadays called a personal "bubble", in which both the reasons for and the consequences of your deeds are just outside your conscious reach - if you don't actively call them into it.
And this has always been so.
You do things for reasons and with consequences neither of which you are able to fathom completely.

And vastly more to have brought you forth.
Amiright?
”Vain, vain, is the work of man.”
Don't have a belief system?
Yes you do.
It is underpinning what you call your rational belief, or perhaps your convictions; however, it is one step removed from your consciousness, and therefore inaccessible to you without some strain.
But then, everyone does.
QUESTION:
Given A and B are proportional to each other, how do you express their relation?
