Indeed - there is something deeply troubling about Darwin's theory - it seems to violate the second law of thermodynamics; i. e., the lump of living species becomes more ordered and diverse over time, in general; from the one- cell- entity to the multi- cell- being, the process seems to be gathering information - and not dissipating it, as in decay.
And then we have
Darwin and the waiting time problem
I. e., the amount of time in the universe was insufficient to create humans (or worms) by chance.
In short:
Darwin says: The origin of species lies in random, incremental change to (i. e., the mutation of) the genome. Period.
Molecular biologists and mathematicians say: The amount of time in the universe does not suffice for that to happen, because viable, non- lethal mutations are rare (and probably become ever more rare along the way)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V15sjy7gtVMMore than that, evolution, as the universe itself, is one-directional - overall, it leads to ever more and more complex beings; i.e., information is being gathered
(!) However, you cannot glean any information from pure chance; in fact, that is the definition of pure chance
So, once again, something else than pure chance is generating and gathering information
Barring external intelligence and design, which would, according to the laws of nature (second law of thermodynamics, increase of entropy), always come with an internal loss of transfer
There is only one option left: Internally generated information by the unidirectional reduction of chance and entropy.
And there is only one force that does so:
Gravity, the the one-sided coin*.
So the evolutionists are catching on to the fact that we could not have evolved by pure chance - which fits with my idea that the whole cosmos (and we as a tiny part of it are no exception to any rule) could not have evolved by pure chance - the laws of physics forbid it.
And as biological evolution is but a subsystem, a result of geological or cosmic evolution - same rules apply.
And now these people say so too.
*Gravity being the one monopolar property of matter that goes only one way, and turns a chaotic, indiscriminate, indeterministic soup of the matter which its springs from into the asymmetrical, one- directional, semi- or quasi- deterministic cosmos which, over time, becomes more and more orderly and complex, which we observe today; as stars and planets are ever new forming, right now.
And this goes for anything material, be it anorganic, or organic.
In other words, if you clean up your room, the information thus gained (you now know where everything is) is lower than the information used to do so.
This difference in information has to come from somewhere other than that room (or it could clean itself); and since biological evolution, as part of life itself, contains that same problem of information transfer loss, other than you as well - or any of your less complex ancestors.
Or, by extrapolation, this world.
In other words, again, nothing in this world would exist, without the pre- fabrication of information, of so-called "negative entropy".
Or: In the beginning was the word.
Or, as Steven Hawking is supposed to have said, Gravity is God.
Or, perhaps, for the more religiously minded: God is Gravity.
